This is proving to be more difficult than I thought. Local rumor has it that he has indeed relocated to Texas. However, no one here knows where. Andrew is one of the few true actual GunBUILDERS that I know. I count the few hours I have spent in his shop as unforgetable. I'll keep looking but if anyone else has a lead I would be interested.

I have called everyone I can think of locally. No one knows how to contact him. He left in a "hurry" was the word I got. I dont know why but thats okay. If anyone else manages to get a hold of him please let me know.

Did you ever locate Andrew Macfarlane. He has had two of the NID parts kits I bought from Galazan for almost four years. I last heard from him in August of last year when he promised me an immediate status report on my order.

Don't you guys get tired of all this gunsmith crap?
If a gun of mine goes sour, I'll tell of it's problem and then hope to get rid of it. If you think about it, the gun business is laden with bs. The stories abound of long waites, going under or spiriting away in the middle of the night with your goods.
Not me brother, I'd sooner pitch it in the lake and be done with it, than give these mongers my money.

There is indeed. He has an accent and sounds like the man. A very helpful gentleman is going to see if he can entice that Andrew to log on here.

If his wife makes excellent shortbread cookies that will be him. He was at the Vintagers some years ago and Mrs. McFarlane was passing a plate around, I had a few.
