John that is a nice looking 20 ga. Ideal. Is it the original straight hand stock- and I can't tell the forearm configuration from the foto- I have a 20 Ideal FW DT extractors 28" barrels a late relative bought for dove shooting (or shooting at- they fly very faaaast indeed don't they?) believe he bought it new in 1935 or 1936- it has the pistol grip stock (capped) and the std. black Bakelite buttplate-he always kept snap caps in it and let the hammers down-but cautioned me to always open and recock the gun before taking it down for cleaning or storage-
