Note from Drew's pic the Baker is a back action sidelock, but with a plate shape resembling a bar action, as is the L C Smith.
The Lefever Arms Co guns have a similar configuration to a Bar-ation sidelock, just the hammers are attached to the frame rather than sideplate. The mainspring rides in a channel in the bar but is totally "Unattached". Early models had the sears & their spring attaced to the sideplate, but later ones also attach these parts to frame. Technically they are thus boxlocks, but show no resemblance to the "Ordinary" Anson Deely action.
