"would the guns have to wear name tags also?"

Nope, just a gunshow barrel flag with the serial number...we'll have seen the gun before.

A US made middle class gun is getting a ton of buzz...as it should be. There's a big market space between Huglu and London.

The Euros fill that gap Yeti!

Better than name tags would be flags with their respective dates of "order" and "delivery". Maybe also if pif or just a deposit. :-)

I'm STILL listening. I prefer to believe that the tribulations of the pifs and dos are temporary witness to the birthing pains of a memorable doublegun. BTW, if the launch edition is a "limited" edition, the no. produced will be fairly low. J'all think of that? Strong enthusiasm always has a comic element. Keep the faith.

So if there's big marketplace, and a correspondingly large demand, and the guns are 100pct made in USA by precision CNC machinery why does a small outfit like CSM have to do the job? Seems that any one of the major U.S. arms manufacturers could do the job. The consumers can get their guns off the rack and not have to wait over a year. They also wouldn't have to sweat about losing their earnest money.

I'm not so confident about the RBL business model being viable. Looks like they'll be collectables in a few years.

It's not a big marketplace; it's a niche marketplace.

Warning: what follows is a rant. If you're the kind of guy who gets his panties in a bundle over nothing, don't read it.

Enough! I'm tired of all you whiners, complainers, and hand wringers.

Tony has guts and vision. Cut the guy some slack. He's taking a risk - more of a risk than most of his detractors will ever take in their lives - and he's doing something cool.

Too many guys on this board have nothing better to do than pick apart everything he does. Get a friggin' life and quit being a bunch of LOSERS.

For $3,000, you're getting a ton of gun. And in the world of guns, $3000 is nothing - so stop complaining. You want perfection, shell out $100,000 and then you can start expecting it.

Tony is doing his best to turn a nice gun at a decent price. While he's doing this, he's trying to keep people happy. Some of you guys are such pains in the butt that you should be grateful that Tony is willing to deal with you at all.

Enough second guessing and complaining by the know-nothings on this board.

Phew. I feel much better.

Thank you for your time.

It's not a case of whining by a bunch of losers, obsessed. There's probably not a group in the world rooting more loudly for another Galazan success story than our members. In my bailiwick, $3,000 is serious money for a shotgun. No one seems to be questioning its value, dollar for dollar, anywhere. What has been called into question is whether the company is meeting its responsibilities to its customers. Clearly, it has not. It has been offhand, curt, and, to my way of thinking, rude. That's fair comment.

Chauvinism and lack of patience!

As OwD says, cut the guy some slack! I already said this, you cannot expect bespoke gun attention when Galazan is trying to cope with a somewhat "mass" demand.

In my rather ignorant view, the RBL is a lot of US-made-gun for the money, do be patient!!!

OTOH, with $3,000.- you can get some nice, non-American doubles that are out there for the taking.
