How is it that Beretta can produce a nicely finished gun at abt USD3500 (e.g. Silver Hawk) without a buyer having to put a deposit down and wait +14Mos.
I'll bite on this part. Jaquas had the silver hawks for 2688 in Sept of 2005 when I bit on the RBL. For roughly the same money I felt it was worth the risk that the gun would not be done by April 2006. I do not have the gun yet.
I also agree that CSM could have done a better job of communicating through emails to all orderers occasionally. I believe that this may be that they are more used to small batches of extremely expensive guns instead of more mass produced higher end guns. I do appreciate their attitude of "if you do not like it obviously you are not our kind of customer, this is not the gun for you, here's your money back and should go buy the Beretta". I believe that this de-horses folks in a manner that they are not used to - the customer is not always right
