The way the gun is done is that it has the original 9.3x92 barrel cut for the last two thirds. The 22 hornet barrel is inserted through the original 9.3 barrel and supported midway and at the muzzle with two mounting pieces. The gun is coming back from the gunsmith where it's got the action tightened. I will try some groups with different ammo see what it can do.
I have never done any rifle rounds reloading, but thank you for the info. In fact I would like a low power .22. In Montana
I just talked with Joe at the drilling hotline about the Lothar Walther .22 Hornet inserts and they seem to provide pistol-like accuracy only. You seem to get better accuracy with your insert.
