I'll second that thought- Farmers are the hardest working folks in the world- and the farmer does you a favor letting you hunt his land- Reminds me of my favorite of GSJ's hunting stories- Fall 1977- Jack Curtis' "The Prairie Queen"- his story took place in Yankton, SD- all great country from Iowa west to Montana- darn fine people too- treat them right and they'll most likely give you permission to hunt their lands. I did notice the absence of trees- bet those winter "Chinook" winds are fierce!!
