My thinking is for your five hundred bucks or whatever you have a choice of a new gun made elsewhere or a nice Flues in the five hundred range or a LC Smith in the eight hundred range or a small bore Nitro Special. The new gun will have choke tubes probably and maybe better stock numbers for fit. The older guns may go up in value and the new one go down but maybe not.One need only look at the damm Japan made graded 101's that sold for four hundred and now go over a grand and some two.The real cheap Ithica SKBs sure ain't cheap no more so whos to say. As long as the parts are about the same from year to year the Turkey guns might just be OK. The real nightmare is the newer Daly guns of the past thirty years where everythink changes about every year.

I won a CZ/Huglu SxS 28 gauge (Ringneck) at a Quail Unlimited dinner a few years ago. Brand new out of the box it doubled when the left barrel was selcected to fire first.

Best,

Mike

BPGuy, where does the line start, I would buy that gun in a minute! It doesn't have to shoot, the wood is good enough incentive to me. I want one.

Homeless,
I sure wish you were not from the south. Be true to the southern heritage and be a gentleman. If your not interested in the guns, then just skip posting. I have a friend that has a very nice selection of "brit" guns, but he brings out that little ole 28ga ringneck more and more. I am sure we all have had problems with guns costing 3 or more times as much, as for me not one issue.

Amazing luck! Simply selecting the left barrel made it worth twice as much. Whodda thunk!

Turkish Walnut!!!!
We travel the world to Italy and France and other such places looking for the paintings and sculptures of the noted masters, and yet after seeing that wood, all we really have to do is go out into our own back yards and simply observe what He created!!

All the best

Amarillo Mike! I bet it doubled cuz Joe Wood let them know about your shooting! they wuz jus tryin to hep ya...The first 28 Huglu I bought YEARS ago had a single trigger and trigger problems. After fussing with it a while, my money was refunded (Mark Dehaan) without a problem and a double trigger gun replaced it. Said gun is the one I have shot a bunch. At the Vintagers shoot in Raton the only gun that broke among all the shooters was a Model 21, doubling EVERY time the right trigger was pulled. I dont think that proves a thing, except any gun can have problems from time to time..
