Looks like ole Louis Lepper inherited the business of Edmund Hügel of Apolda, Germany in 1911, or that was when Lepper hung out his Gunmaking Shingle. I have no idea where that might be, but it must be close to Zella-Mehlis.
I checked it out. In the official gazetteer of the city of Apolda, there is an historical article from 2010 about a well-known old inn ("The Golden Lion") of the 19th and early 20th century. The innkeeperess had added a new building to the complex in 1911 and that is the house which Louis Lepper - already established in Apolda - bought separately, when it was divided off the main complex in 1920, and where he moved in.
