Adding a set of 28ga. barrels to my 20 ga. Beretta 686 Onyx and would like a case to hold it all.

Anyone to consider besides Negrini? The last one I got was from Jeff's but they no longer sell ABS cases.

I looked at Beretta's offerings, their current stuff looks terrible, unlined cheap cases..

Coles has Beretta and Negrini, looking for other options, don't seem to be many...

Etchen is also Negrini (with Etchens name) and Beretta.

Thanks, I'm sure I'll find something suitable.

SKB had a 2 bbl case years ago. Not the most rugged, but not terrible. They currently have a 2 bbl case in their 3i line that look like a Pelican case. Then there is Pelican.

Seems like Americase stepped up and put a full interior in their all aluminum cases some time ago. Ultralite series Model 3021 They look like a good case.

I have one of the SKB cases for two complete doubles or O/U's and can attest to its ruggedness. As added protection for it I also have a canvas cover for it when I travel with it. I know that they did at one time make one for a two barrel set also. Good luck in your search.

If you don't like the unlined Beretta case, get some gun socks to fit the barrels and action. That would take the place of any protection from scratches a thin layer of felt would provide...Geo
