Democracy does not work when one party comes into power and then uses that power to outlaw all the other parties. That happened in Germany many years ago and cost about 50 million lives to straighten out, for a time. We are a Constitutional Republic not a Democracy. A Republic is two wolves and a sheep all understanding each has a right to live in peace and freedom. A Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what is for dinner and then the sheep being expected to quietly be eaten by the majority rule of a Democracy. The Second Amendment only every had one reason and this is to never force the sheep to agree to be eaten by the majority of the wolves.
