Does Anyone Know What This Butt Plate Is For? #613679 04/10/2022 1:10 AM

Jolly Bill	I have acquired several butt plates and there are a couple that I would like to know what they were on, or what gun they are for. The one pictured below, marked “MG”, near the toe is one of them. It measures 5 inches heel to toe, is 1 9/16 inches wide and the mounting holes are 2 9/16 inches apart. The butt plate is slightly curved. Your thoughts and comments will be appreciated. Thanks.

Parabola	N C ORDNANCE Inc. offers what appears to be the same butt plate as a Merkel butt plate. Wonderful what a hopeful Google search will sometimes turn up!
