I HAVE A PUSCH DRILLING 16 16 8.8*72 . I'M TRYING TO LOCATE A SOURCE IN EUROPE TO LOCATE A NEW HAMMER. I'M WILLING TO BUY A PAIR BUT DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO START LOOKING.
The right hammer on a drilling needs an extra hammerhead for the rifle barrel. Make sure that you are buying the correct hammers.
JM, maybe this company in Germany can help:

P.S.: Welcome, and please abstain from using upper case in your posts. If you do not know, it is "shouting" in internet jargon. :-)
Dixie gun works has hammers, cast from originals. You may be able to get one with the correct throw and offset, as a starter. I found Blackley to be a "black hole"...emails go in, nothing comes out. Plus the exchange rate is a killer nowadays.
If it is the left hammer you may be able to get one for a double shotgun from some of these souces mentioned. If the right one, as Mike said, will be required to be a drilling hammer. This is going to be a lot harder to find.
