hello again all,
i have lost all stored documents on my computer.one item was a helpful and exhaustive web page of european, and british, proof and other marks.i copied the document from a link from this forum and despite repeated searches here and on google i am unable to find again.the origin of the document was continental european rather than british.
i would be most grateful for any assistance to source the info.

There is a Russian site with many countries available. On the left at the bottom you can choose an automatic translation via google. This is the most complete single site that I am aware of.

many thanks for the reply,however that is not the site i am referring to.i was sure it came from this board but i may have discovered it on google or similar.it had every possible english proof marking by date with explanations of other marks(not for ball,choke etc)i shall continue searching the web.
