We have 3 Reloaders that we'd like to sell, but we have no idea on what a reasonable price would be for them. They are all Ponsness-Warren mfg. 2 are "Silver Street" model 800c - one set up for.410,one for 28. The other is a "Size O Matic" model 800B set up for 12 gauge. I have pictures if that would be helpful and we have ALL the accessories that go with each.
Any help would be appreciated! Jennifer (Legg) Dain
Jennifer:

If you look on Ebay under Outdoor Sports, then Hunting, then Reloading, then 'Reloading Presses' you will find the same model PW's and that should help you with pricing....the 'sold' price for each model etc.....accessories are usually sold separately....

Ebay is also the best place for you to list these items and receive the most buying traffic and the best sales price, as the buyers fight like children over this stuff......

Once on the Reloading Presses and Accessories thread, you can key the search window at the top for Ponsness Warren, just looked and there is a model 800C .410 set up listed with 4 + hours left at this time and has 17 bids at present.......

Best Regards,
Thanks so much Doug - I appreciate the advice!
Or figure out what's a reasonable price and list them for sale here. That's what I did awhile back for a widow acquaintence of my wifes.

Wait until the .410 on ebay now sells in a couple of hours. Go on ebay advanced search and search "ponsness warren" and specify the completed sales. You will see two 800B models in 12 gauge, one sold for $318, one for $380. These must be getting to be cult items to be sold at those prices. A good price for a 12 gauge 800B a couple of years ago would have been $275, but it is a great loader and maybe a little used one is now more valuable. Mine is more than 40 years old and is working fine. The .410 loader sale will also show up and you will know what they sell for. The .410 and 28 loaders are more valuable than the 12 and 20, so factor that into your expectations. If you can describe and box them up, ebay is the way to go. Just make sure you charge enough for shipping.
I have no idea why the .410 loader does not appear in the "completed sales" listing. Maybe it will tomorrow.
