Lost some documents in a recent move. I know this gun was manufactured by Greener if anyone has a copy of "The Greener Story". Serial # 12407

Thanks!

According to The Greener Story that makes it 1926. Lagopus.....

In order to identity/date your gun we need more info,in particular pictures of the gun and its proof marks. 11 suggests that your gun is a 10G bored 11 gage at time of proof. 11 is almost certainly not the serial number.

Must be pre-1874 when Greener bought the Needham company...Geo

Greener did carry on making guns under the Needham name. They were still being turned out from the Loveday Street address from 1887 to 1928. It should have Damascus Works, Loveday Street, Birmingham as the address on the rib. Proof marks and serial number may date it more accurately. Greeners have some, but not all, of Needham's records. Pictures awaited. A good close up of the barrel proof marks will tell us plenty. Lagopus.....
