I foolishly removed the forearm from my SLE (southgate style ejecters) with the gun fired. I now cannot get the forend back on the gun.

How do I cock the ejectors with the forend off?

Re cock the kickers by pushing them forward toward the forearm tip until they click into cock. Do one at a time on a bench corner. The forearm will then fit.

Problem solved, I originally tried your solution but did not press hard enough as I was afraid I might break something.

The gun is together, all functions check ok, and it is ready to go for a morning hunt tomorrow.
