Triple Crown and fun with 3" or 3.5" loads- OK- let's stay with the baseball and the hallowed Triple Crown- which Cabrera nailed in 2011- as much fun as putting your balls on a tee-ball post and let "Miggy" smack them out of the park with a 38 ounce Louisville Slugger- I have one 12 gauge that will chamber those nasty 3.5" loads- a Mossberg 835 I won years ago at a DU Sponsor Banquet- ported barrel, recoil pad, even extra lead in the butt-stock cavity (as found on my 2 older Model 12 Heavy Duck pump guns) and I ain't built like Arnold Stang either-- I shot one big goose a few years ago in the late Winter season- that was enough-=I'll use 3" shells sometimes, but I am waaay more comfortable letting them in close and using 2&3/4 1 & 18 ounce Kent Fast-Steel No 2 or BB- How close? Close enough to see their shoelaces--

Yes, I meant the gun might be fun.
For most of my shooting, I use 2 3/4 ammo
at around 1 to 1 1/8 ounce of shot.

Did use my drilling for dove hunting this year
with 2 1/2 inch 16 gauge reloads smile
Mike
As I have said previously if they fully rifled top barrel for sabot slug shooting they would really have something. I would actually buy this "8lb" contraption.

OK a 45-70 or 9.3x74R barrel insert smile
