On a good note I was able to log in here.

Hi Mike. I responded to your email. I'm hopeful that the Not board will be up soon. I figured plenty of people had emailed Elia so I didn't add to the clutter in his in box.

You can at least see a note from Elia that he is working on the problem this morning. That makes over 24 hours now that it's been down.

Supposed to be back up tomorrow.

Phew!

Dang! Down again. I hope it's a fixable problem.

What does NOTSSMBS stand for?

I thought Shooting Sportsman BS or something, but I guess not, that site is still up...

Redoak several years ago Shooting Sportsman BBS had a Friday night massacre and kicked several of the leading posters off of the website. They formed their own BBS and at first called it "NotShootingSportsmanBBS" or something like that. Apparently that lead to lawyer letters and they changed it to NOTSSMBS.

I had forgotten how entertaining the NOT site was. Thanks for the reminder.

Darn! We're going to have to start a Flatwater topic over here.

And back up. The server company is really struggling this week.

It's like I'm having cyber TIA's. I made a couple of posts that got lost during one of them. I think everything is solid now though. Along with this board, my favorite place on the net!

Is the board still having problems? I see nothing much posted since 3/28.

I just looked at it and lots of recent posts.

No issues in the last few days.
