Bought a H Scherping Cape gun with a 2nd set of shotgun barrels that have pitted bores. Looking for recommendations for a gunsmith that could backbore to cleanup & polish (chambers are good)& then refinish the barrels (no exterior pitting). Who would you recommend?

Might be best to just leave them as is and shoot it bless you just can't stand looking at thee pits. Honing barrels removes metal the entire length of the tubes resulting in some degree of weakening them. Pits hurt nothing practical, only weakening the tube where they are.
