16 gauge Webley Scott 700 mfg 1967 has 2 & 3/4 in chambers. MBW thickness right 0.030; left 0.031 with .007 choke in right and .026 in left. Question is would it be feasible to open to .003 in right (remove.004) and open to .021 (remove .005 in left)?
If so recommendations for gunsmiths that specialize in this service.

Sir; Any number of gunsmiths could do that. Barrel wall thickness has pretty much nothing to do with opening chokes. May I suggest to you to try some different shells to achieve your aim, rather than messing with the chokes? You aren't asking for all that much of a change. If you go ahead, find a barrel guy that alters chokes from the breech rather than the muzzle. Jim Eyster in Ohio is a skilled barrel man, Heritage Gunsmiths. Good luck to you.

DukDok, Note that choke constriction is a diameter change whereas wall thickness is a radius change. Ergo, 0.004" change in choke constriction equal 0.002" change in wall thickness.

The proposed choke alterations are well within the practical wall thickness range. Also note that Greener proved that "foil" thickness will hold the choke pressure. However, it is not practical to resist deformation from normal bumps and dings.

I'd second that the amounts of choke alteration approach trivial.
