I need a trigger specialist to convert the double triggers on my Merkel 301e back to their original function. Someone changed them to double non selective. That is no matter which you pull the bottom barrel fires. When you pull the trigger again the top fires!

Phillip Crenwelge in TX is the best trigger guy I have seen in 50 years of looking. Give him a call at 210 313 5988.

I agree. Good trigger men are hard to come by. Phillip is the real deal.

I sing the praises of Phillip heartily, I introduced him to Stan and recommended him knowing the outcome would be satisfactory....He is a great friend and in fact the first thing tomorrow a gun goes to him for needed work.....

Regarding your problem it may be complicated by the ABSENCE of certain essential trigger components.....I speak with some experience,I am familiar with the problem you have. A similar situation confronted me with a 60's vintage Simson 20 bore SxS .....
The gun was originally made with a "replica" of the old Browning "Double/Single" trigger system.... and a conversion had involved the removal of several parts....
I had J.J.Perodeau , now in Sand Springs OK. to concoct a fix.... The repair involved the making of the replacements for those parts from scratch. You have to know what the needed part looks/functions like to make them from scratch. He has pretty extensive experience with Teutonic guns of all types...
Each of these men is a fine craftsmen, and I am proud to be friends with both of them....
