Any one know any famous Trap or Pigeon shooters from the 1905 era with the initials of M.O.B. or M.D.B.? I have a nice target gun with these initials on it and the city, so I would love to find out more.
What brand of target gun?
Maybe factory records will list the buyer or store

Obviously I didn't read the entire thing yet, but it is interesting to see the history being told. I don't see anything in there that points to shooters of the day. If you saw something specific in there give me a page number and I will continue to look it over.

The '89ers were Martin O'Brien ....

In 1895 came Michael O'Boyle
The Crookston Gun Club (now at a different location) has a long history and hosted major shoots, including the Minnesota State Championship several times. It is possible that the owner ordered the gun through the Gun Club and was not a resident of Crookston
