Steve;
I am still waiting; has the Greener been rescued from it's near demise? Photos?
The Greener FP will be going into finish shortly. I have a few more pictures I need to edit and post. I will try to get to that over the weekend.
Steve
I'm waiting also, get to it
Mmmmmmm someone said Greener
Steve;
Thanks a lot for the photos.
Stephen
Excellent shape to your stock Steve, nice and crisp. Show us more as you go along.
Nice SKB. Is that a quarter sawn blank?

LOL I think I see what you did there...
Thanks Dennis.
Buzz,
Perfectly quarter sawn at the butt and turns as it approaches the head to more of a rift sawn cut.
Do you think Keith would agree?
The blank came from Cecil.
Beautiful rescue of a very nice Greener. It would have been nice to incorporate that white diamond the original stock had. Then we could recognize it better...Geo
That and the sunken panel for the checkering are next. My checkering/engraving whiz will do both of those items as well as a small amount of engraving.
Lovely fit to the action back.

Thank you Stephen. I believe this gun was the most complex inletting I have done to date. It really required all of my concentration both on the pantograph and with chisels.
I have a new appreciation for the Greener FP actions. Keeping my eye out for one in the future. The top tang safety models seems very rare.

Red oil
Diamonds and the recess cut in for checkering in the head.
She is looking good! Oh I can't wait to have it back in my hands again. I'm having gun with my Cashmore hammer gun for certain, and I shoot it well, but that Greener is just too nice. She is definitely missed here.
Brent, I'm glad to see what Steve has done with your Greener. It will be nice to see it posed again with the game you chase...Geo
