I am looking at a Thieme & Schlegelmilch Nimrod shotgun as a possible purchase. It is not an action with which I am familiar. Do any of you have experience with them and can you comment on the pros and cons of this action design.

Thanks.

While I don't own one this is a well known name among collectors of German guns( especially Drillings). If you don't get a response here, you might try the other forum.

I like them but have only handled them. Never owned one.
Never seen one loose or with a cracked stock either.
There is an extremely nice one that has been restored( by a well known maker) that is for sale, 16ga 29” barrels almost Bulino style game scene. I have been watching for a year now.Pm me and I will send link if your interested.
If you buy one please share pics of yours on the German forum here they are classic.
