What would be the average cost to engrave a custom built 20 gauge NID in the style and similar to a factory grades 3 or 4 level?

I have all the parts and wood to make the gun I want but want some embellishments.

many thanks

Ask Jack Jones in Virginia. he did the Ithaca classic NIDs

Chuck Edwards in MO is excellent and reasonable. I tried to PM, could not make a connection.

I think 2-3K. To replicate Ithaca would be flair cut engraving. The scroll work isn’t tight. I’ve always found it attractive.

Mark is an excellent engraver. It would be nice if he posted more of his superb work here. Great guy too.

It would be nice to see a few threads of engravings. Even some of the more "pedestrian" variety, just to see what people have and like. I'm not a fan of much of the high brow stuff, but still interesting to look at.

I have used Geoffroy Gournet in Easton, PA, on several guns, and his work is perfect. No idea how his works costs compared to other engravers, but he was the official Parker Bros engraver and has been featured in many magazines
