That’s super!
The Geat lakes region is consolidating into a full season of side-by-side events.
Our hobby is strong in the Great Lakes region!
Lots of fun to be had.
love to if I could find shotshells...
RDD, I can't promise it, but right now if you shoot at Back Forty they will sell you shells for the day. we are all hoping it gets better
Just a reminder about Back Forty Sporting Clays shoot May 2. If you are low on shells, call Ryan at back Forty and ask if he can cover you for this event.
Links to others?
My first sxs is currently enroute. My lady shoots an a400 with the kickoff because of shoulder issues, we're at Deer Creek most weekends when warm.
Ryan at Back Forty told me he did get some shells, so that should NOT deter anyone from coming.
Enjoy. This season is shaping up well for those of us here in the midwest.
See you there. Weather looks great.
Great—turnout-weather-targets-food-comraderie. Hope to see many of you at Lapeer on the 22nd.
A little recap. We had 34 shooters. The day started cool but soon warmed up and was perfect. We shot 100 sporting targets, 20 from a wobble trap and 10 high tower. We shot all pairs, either report, following or true. High score was a tie at 120 out of 130 total targets. We gave prizes by gauge, 12 ga high was 120, 16 ga high was 91, 20 ga high was 99, no one shot 28 or 410. A wide variety of guns, from basic to high end sidelocks. Also on display were some beautiful high grade Win 21, LC Smith, Fox and Ithica's. A few hammer guns were used as well. The highlight for me was the high tower where we threw a following pair at about 35-40 yards. Several high scores here as well as some zeroes and 1's. A lot of old farts like the author but a few young guys too. As one shooter said to me it was a great deal, 130 targets and lunch for $55
