Is that very coarse powder in the sack and measure or very small cubed dispersant shot?

Is the threaded wooden tool made of boxwood?

I shall be loading some very soon for my 12 bore pin-fire double by Thomas Newton of Manchester. You have a fantastic array of collectibles there. Lagopus.....

Daryl,

Isn’t it the forward part of the paper case body, with the rear part being brass covered like an Eley “Grouse Ejector “.

It is definitely shot and I don't know much more about it. It did come from France though.

I am not a wood expert but I assume so. It is a bit darker than the typical boxwood tool but I think it is the same.

yeah I think it is the same idea as the Kynoch Grouse Ejector patent.

Basically helps it be gas tight and allows one to use the hand turnover tools.
