I just spent 3 days shooting my side by side shotguns at Old Vermillion Trail for the Duluth Double Gun. First time I’ve been able to attend for a few years and I had a great time! Thanks to the club, Mike and Randy for putting this together. The best part was reconnecting with people I hadn’t seen for several years. I also accidentally bought a new gun, but that is one of the dangers of attending such an event.
Great, pleased you had a good time
Specify, please
It was a great shoot! Nice venue, Well run and we got lucky with the weather. Good to see old friends.
Skeet,
Were you asking about my gun? I somehow brought home a M21 Duck 2 barrel set. I feel bad because it’s going to usurp my BSS which has served me well for years.
Have a friend who attended for the first time. She said it was a good time.
In fairness to both guns you need to spend more time shooting.
What part of buying a new gun is an accident?:)
It was unplanned and spontaneously occurred.
i'll have to remember that line....out of curiosity does it work?
best regards,
tom
The gun works extremely well. I shot it as good or better than anything I own.
Mildly off-topic but is Puglisi's Guns still operating out of Duluth? I stopped in there one day with my father-in-law (several years ago now), and we were treated to a spectacular tour of the stockpile of guns they had there. If I remember correctly, the founding patriarch had passed recently, but his heir-apparent had stepped up and was putting things in order.
They appear to have a web site that is still active:

They sure do, thank you for that. They don't seem to have the volume of guns they used to.
