Anyone familiar with this logo? Looks like a Merkel with a few subtle differences. Curiosity is getting the best of me.

Otto Bock? Known more for combination guns. But he was in Berlin, not Suhl.

I don’t think that’s the same maker or retailer.

From the Merkel website:

"In 1931 Merkel registered a trademark: from now on the rights to the term “Bock” (over-and-under) for hunting and sporting rifles were reserved for Merkel."
