I wish to thank all Veterans on this day for their service and sacrifice, and to remember them in our prayers. To those of us here, welcome home!
Karl
Thank you for your service.
Thanks Karl, you too. It was my honor; I wish I could do it again.

Happy 247th birthday to the USMC! Born at Tun Tavern, Philadelphia, 247 years ago on today's date.. Gil
My little 4 yr. old granddaughter invited me to the Veteran's Day appreciation program at her school. It was this morning. I was moved to tears at the patriotism and appreciation for America, and for we vets, that was shown in that program. The younger generation has not totally gone to hell in a handbasket. Her private school is in good hands.
Thank all of you for your service! God Bless all of you who have served.
Thanks Karl for starting this thread.
God bless all our Vets and thanks for your unselfish service!
Best,
Greg
We can count the deaths and wounded, but the human costs of war are incalculable. May those who served, remember only good things, and all the bad be lost in the laughter of small children.
To my fellow veterans, God bless all of you
Stan,
My wife and I have attended Veteran's Day programs at the local private school for the last 20 years or so. The performances are all done by the K-6 grade students and it is great that they are teaching the little one's patriotism early. For a couple or three years the local public school had a veteran for principal, and they had a program, those years; not now. That speaks for itself.

Stan & Mike,
I've attended my Granddaughter's Veteran's program as well at her school, and my observances were the same as yours. I appreciated their program and respect.
Karl

My close friend, Lt. Donald Adamson, USA 7th Air/Cav was Kia in the Pleiku sector 15 Feb 1966. His name is 5 panels East and 63 Lines down on "The Wall".. I thought about both of them this AM when I performed "Colors" at 0800 Hrs.. I thought about all the brave and selfless men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice so that you and I can live free. My barracks were right across the road from the 82nd Airborne Museum when the 325 Inf moved there in 71/72. We enjoyed working there when on "special duty"! What a wonderful display of a super unit, I am very proud that I was an Airborne Trooper and encourage a visit to Ft Bragg and the Museum.
Thankyou and Happy Veterans Day to all the un-woke here.
Thank you, to all the veterans that served to keep America free.
