Is the W. & C. Scott Information Service, of Corvallis, OR still in business?
Highwall, No, unfortunately Dr. John Crawford, who wrote the Scott books, died back in the early 2000’s, and he was the man who actually did the lookup on the info requests. He only had factory records on Scotts made after 1913, which would have been probably around the 85000 range. The Scott book is pretty complete as to models and has a SN list that narrows mfg. dates down somewhat. I might be able to help with model ID, if you supply SN and a photo. Regards, Sandlapper
