Looking for vintage varmint rifles. Favorites are those built on set trigger 1885 Win action. Will consider others. Odd or wildcat calibers not a problem. Have shotguns by Greener, Perazzi, Kemen as well as some handguns i'd trade. Let me know what you have.

HighWall, I have a varmint weight barrel for a highwall chambered in 219 Donaldson Wasp, coplete with dies and cases. It's a straight taper, 26", drilled for scope blocks. It comes rust blued with English walnut foresarm, checkered with ebony tip. I shot this barrel on one occassion with MOA results. The bore is pristine. I want $450 for the works. I also have a 219 Zipper on a high wall scheutsen action. It's $3750. If you have any interest, let me know. Thanks, Bill

I have an unusual Varmint rifle that I no longer use. The action is a custom made single shot bolt action (serial # 9) made by St. Louis bench rest gunsmith Arthur Freund. Cartridge is a wildcat .223/45 which uses a reformed .222 magnum case. Hart 24" heavy bull barrel; about 7/8" at muzzle.. Fitted neck cases and hand seating die.

Custom fancy walnut stock by Hal Hartley of North Carolina. Ebony fore end tip. Ribbon checkering. Neidner checkered steel butt plate, and grip cap.

Scope is an older Weaver K-12 with adjustable parallex feature.

I think this was built in the late 1960's. I'm 80 years old, and this beauty has rested in the gun safe for the past 20 years. Open to gun trades or cash offers. Will add some photos....

The rifle's bolt face is also a "SHELLHOLDER" and there is not a separate extractor. After firing, one removes the bolt, which removes the fired case.

YES, it has brass and dies. The cases last a long time, as there is no need to size anything but the necks.
