I saw these two Ross sporters on proxibid, you don't see all that many of these and this is the first one I've seen with the Lyman 50 sight.

I don't suppose anyone on the forum is one of the new owners.

The first one is a 1905 with the dual solid locking lugs. The second they describe as a 1907 saying the interrupted thread of that transitional model couldn't be assembled incorrectly like the infamous 1910 yet it appears to have been!
