Always my favorite single shot actions, I had been looking for a decent .303 for sometime. This one will do until I get the action I am building into a rifle done. Restored in the UK, I will have some clean up to do on the outside of the barrel as it once upon a time wore a scope. Should be a fun one. You hardly ever see a cased Gibbs sporter.

Looks very interesting and will want to follow this posting as it develops.

Maybe it is the camera angle, but that stock looks very tall and perhaps difficult to shoot with irons. Nice looking rifle for sure.

The little Gibbs arrived and I do not believe that the case is original to the rifle.

On the bright side it is built on a small action and weighs 6lbs.

TOO COOL! I was given totes of ALOT of 303 stuff. All sorts of old ammo, new ammo dies etc. Now to get a gun myself
