I just placed an order for a fully-paid RBL 12 this morning and was told to expect it in July or August. After reading a number of previous posts I've braced myself for a longer wait than that, but either way I can't wait to take it in the field.
I've really enjoyed reading through this board. Thanks for all the great info.

Maybe they'll be pretty close to the estimate. At least they didn't say delivery in April...

I waited a while for my 28 RBL. it came 6 months after the initial delivery date promised but was worth the wait. So, relax, be patient and read all of what the naysayers will be spouting about these new offerings.

I would probably get one with 32 bbls if you could get a custom stock, even with a reasonable upcharge.

I just give them the info and don't even ask about a date. They get here when they get here. I've been very pleased with the 20- and the 28-gauges and I'm sure the 16- and 12- will be every bit as nice. As long as you have something on order you have something to live for!

I have also ordered an RBL 12. 32" barrels, splinter, 3X Straight stock, double trigger. I was an early order and they said late April shipping. I'm thinking probably June or so but we'll see when it gets here. Robert Krull

Krull, sounds like a nice choice of options. Have you also chosen the vent rib, what I would add to your gun for my idea of a perfect pigeon and sporting gun?

Hi, No, I haven't but I have been tempted to add that to my order. I think I still have a month or so to do that. Especially since it will used primarily as a sporting clays gun. As an aside, I was a bit worried about weight. CSMC said it should come in right at 8 lbs. which is pretty close to my Thomas Wild pigeon gun I use a lot. Robert Krull
