Have the Win. 21 Book by Schwing, and Brophy's L.C. Smith. Will trade even for a copy of The Muzzle Loading Caplock Rifle, by Ned Roberts.

Reminds me of trading comic books when I was a kid. Oh, if I only had those comic books today! Might be able to have bought a mod. 21.

I don't have any of the trade books you want, but what are you asking for Col. Brophy's book on the "Elsie" and what edition and condition is your copy pls. RWTF

It is the 6th printing, and is in excellent condition. I really don't know its value. I just had these two books, and wish I had Roberts' book. I guess I'd listen to cash offers.

there are 2 copies of roberts book on abebooks.com for $90-odd each. brophy's book usually goes high. the copy i had i got i think $70 for several years ago on ebay. no idea on schwings 21 book but you could see what they go for on abebooks. try amazon. lots of used books on amazon too. crapshoot whether amazon or abebooks will have a cheaper copy.

The NRA has been offering re-printed books for some years now, nicely bound books. I believe most of them are done by Paladin Press. Most of these sell new for $29.95 as I recall. I got a copy of Ned's Caplock Rifle, very interesting read. Mine though is not for sale or trade. They send out offers at intervals for a book, but have no idea if they have any stock of the ones offered in the past. I added several hard to find (otherwise expensive) books to my library via this route.
