The FN in the pictures is in very good mechanical shape. Locks up tight, has ejectors, even though you can see that I have the part removed so that it functions as a extractor only right now and a cross bolt.

The locks have been redone and I have a couple of extra new yokes for it. The same smith that did the locks cleaned up the wood, which looks fairly good.

What I still need to have done is the bluing. And it does have some small rust issues, cosmetic in nature. Inside the barrels is very good.

I tried to get pictures of the markings so that the knowledgable could really tell me something.

I looked about the net for similar and found some but the locks on those had much different screw patterns......? I have another one just like it in 16ga.

So tell me how old and what I sould expect it is worth. And yes I know it's only a shooter, actually did a bit of that with it last week.

Interesting watertable contraption. If that is a "f", then the date is 1927. Pleasure us with a pic of the pin configuration on the sidelock.

That's it. 4 pin configuration, huh? Could you post a pic of the extra bridle?

This is a picture of the inside of the locks that the smith took while he was cleaning them up. Does that do anything to help?

Any more information out there?

What does a "4 pin" lock mean.....other than the obvious?

I thought by now Drew Hause or PeteM would chime in. Many of the locks are 5 pin and above. I was just curious as to how it was configured. Nitro proved for 12x70mm with both tubes choked, but I can't see the actual numbers, if there are any. The "1k467"? is the weight of the tubes so you can compare to see if they have been cut.

Here's Littlegun's FN site but I don't see any scatterguns:
