Very difficult to work with - overly proud of his stock.

Just my opinion but I don't even contact someone that won't put prices on their guns. I figure they are out of my league.

I must say in advance that I do not have personal experience, but all the feedback I've read on various boards has not been positive.

There was a topic a while back about them, thought the "soup nazi" comparison was used.

"soup nazi' is a good comparison.
While asking for serial # and other pertenant information on a Model 21 I wanted to purchase from him, He begrudgingly obtained the information for me. I then asked the price. He quoted me $500 above his listed price. When I asked why the increase, he stated "because you made me work". I hung up.-Dick

I visited his place a couple years ago while in NYC. Took the train to Greenwich and his shop is an easy walk from the station. Nice place and lovely guns (clothes, etc on first floor and guns upstairs). He was pretty cool at first, but actually warmed up and spent quite a while with my wife, daughter and me (no one else was there "shopping"). He brought out lots of guns to let me handle. I had a child at NYU and one at Cornell at the time, so no way was I able to afford the 21 that fit me "perfectly". I did get the impression he doesn't rely on gun sales to pay his bills and he seemed to like everything he showed me very much himself...
