Our trophies have arrived for the second annual “Ansley H Fox Championship” to be held at the Vintage Cup this year. The 2009 Vintage Cup will be held at Pintail Point, Queenstown, MD from September 24-27.

The Vintagers will be running their American Classic event on Friday and Saturday, and the A.H. Fox Collectors Association will offer our Ansley H. NOTE that the cost for the American Classic is $50.00 and that PREREGISTERED competitors will receive free admission to the Vintage Cup. Admission is normally $20.00 for non-Vintager members. The AFHCA recommends preregistration for anyone planning to compete in our 2009 Ansley H Fox Championship. All AHFCA members and non-members are cordially invited to compete in our second annual Ansley H Fox Championship. Last year's competition was keen and this year promises the same. Note that you must shoot a genuine Fox designed shotgun. See you at the Vintagers!

Those are the handsomest trophies I have seen offered in some time. Congrats to whoever is responsible for the design. Sure wish I could be there with my 32" A grade to compete for them.

A REMINDER to all that preregistration for any of the Vintagers events ends on September 16. That means your form must be in the Vintagers offices by that date.

If you preregister for the American Classic you'll be able to shoot our Ansley H Fox Championship on Friday or Saturday, and get free entry to the Vintage Cup over all the days you'll be there. That's a savings of $20. per day except on Sunday when the fee is reduced somewhat. The 1st post here shows the link to download the preregistration form.

If you are flying to the Vintage Cup without a gun you might consider contacting a friend who will be there to borrow a Fox for our AHF Championship! Just bring your shooting glasses and ear protection. Shells are available from RST and other vendors at the event.

If you do not have anyone to shoot the Ansley Championship with please stop by our both and we will try to link shooters up so they can meet other AHFCA members. The competition is fun but the real winners are the people that make new friends in the Fox collecting world. It will be BIG and FUN.

Very nice trophies!!! I will have to shoot much better than last year to get one of those.
Who plans on shooting? We hope to go out as "groups" if anyone is interested Paul
