Brian who on this thread said anything demeaning about Tony Galazan or Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing?
I think Tony is a great entrepreneur. His Fox and Winchester 21s are just plain phenomenal and his new gun looks to be a winner as well. I just don't believe the RBL is all that special and lump them into the class with the higher grade Citori's and mid grade AyA's and Merkels for execution and usability.
1. I never said that anyone said anything demeaning. My use of the word "haters" relates to those who find fault in things for no reason other than they dont have one or because soemone else is being critical and they have to join in.
2.My observation, based partially on this thread and several others in the past is that when CSM announces a gun the doubters and critics come out. I see comparisons to torch coloring, dumping on the market and other veiled remarks that paint a less than stellar picture. This has been the norm for some folks here for quite a while.
3. rememebr back when the first RBL wasoffered and the subsequent delays. The critics were like sharks in bloody water.
4. Tony has done more to stimulate the double gun business here in the US than anyone else I know of. I have bought several RBL's form him. I like them and dont see the faults that many talk about. It would be interesting to know how many of the critics actually bought and or had in their handsand used an RBL to which they base their negative opinions on.
5. BTW, my initial response was supposed to be sort of tongue in cheek. so dont get your nickers twisted, okay?
