Will the Parker Repro 28 Ga. barrels mentioned in the For Sale Forum readily fit and/or interchange on a Parker Repro 20 Ga. frame?

No. The Repro 20-gauge is an 0-frame and the 28-gauge is an 00-frame. The early, real Parker Bros., 28-gauge doubles were built on the 0-frame, and were usually a bit hefty.

I have a 28 Parker on an 0 frame. It is very hefty, a little under 6lbs. I signed up at a gym last year and have been taking steroids to pump up my arms. Then one day this pipsqueak told me if I were man I would have no trouble carrying it, even if it weighed 7 lbs. I plan, next time I see him at the beach, to kick some sand in his face.

CSMC has 28 ga barrels to fit 0-frame Repros and originals. May not be shipping yet.
