Dean, no, I didn't buy the Sauer, but I corresponded with the seller. I have a nice light bird gun, a factory crossover Cogswell and Harrison Avant Tout fully engraved sideplate ejector gun. I want guns with which I can compete in the American "brand" shoots like the Smith-Parker Challenge and the Bo Whoop. Regardless, the Sauer was a fine gun at a great price. I think it is in the hands of a dealer now, can't remember who. Thanks for thinking of me. By the way, I once had five strong flying preserve chukars on the ground at one time with the Coggie before the pup could retrieve the first one. Three or four of them were shot after my partner had emptied his gun. I've never done anything like that with another gun. I have respect for that gun after that day.
