Here is a blast from the past....

This thing is a cat. No one pays it any attention and Oldlightning bailed as founder and admin years ago. It just won't die.

I had lost track of it until I received an email concerning a PM from the site (PM's still work there.... ) with a link that I finally used to find the actual BBS.

I helped Oldlightning administer it for a while and then it kind of withered on the vine. It does let you know that things do hang around on the internet for a long long time.

I can't promise this link will work but take a look for a blast from the past!

Anyone ever hear from Mark......uh, I mean Oldlightning? I too could use a dose of RNJ! I regret never getting a chance to shoot in the "Top of Texas Chicken Chase" as well.

I still check it every once in awhile. It's dead just hasn't stopped breathing yet.

I couldn't believe I received an email from someone on that board. Yeh, it's dead but jeez someone keeps running it on a server somewhere. I don't know if Phillius can still administer it(not that it matters) but somewhere along the way my admin access failed. I couldn't remember my log in information so I re-registered yesterday. Probably the first 'new' member in a long time.

I just spent some time cruising around that old site, and after reading an interesting thread begun by you, I got curious about something. Did you ever get your tubes back from England? Did Mr. Foster retain his status as a good guy?
