Bozard (correct spelling???) London address on rib, 28ga box lock, very small frame, damacus barrel. Not alot of condtion but it wasn't abused much. Did have some exterior pitting at muzzle. Not much engraving to speak of. Had a thin orange pad that had seen better days. This gun, i would assume was made for a kid or lady shooter. It was the most smallest framed 28 i have seen.
We tried to work out a trade, but it didn't work. The buy price was 2300.00

What is the LOP?

According to Burrard the standard 2-1/2" British 28 cartridge was loaded with 9/16 oz of shot so it is about like an American .410.

I don't know how bad the exterior barrel pitting was but I think $2300 is a bargain, but I am queer for light guns.

Best,

Mike

I don't know about the price, but it sounds like a nice little gun. I'd love to see some pictures.
Damascus barrels in 28 ga probably not that common.

Bozard is the correct spelling. I have very nice Bozard & Co 12 ga damascus ejector. I would love to see that 28.
By the way, there is a Bozard website.

Mike......i'm with you. I like light guns too!
The lop was short, i would guess 13, 13.5 Thats why i thought it was made for a kid or lady shooter. It had a nice ball grip.

I like damacus guns, but if this had been a steel barrel gun i would have bought it. This was at the Louisville show Sunday when everybody was packing up heading out. Had a friend buy a Parker 20ga VHE with pinned stock for 1500.00 i hope to have it soon !

Battle the LOP might kill the deal for me. The condition of the gun could overcome it.

Yeah, please post some pictures of that .410. You can even start a new thread.
