Happy new year everyone.
Does anyone here have the name/contact information for the highly talented welder (using Electron Beam Welding if I recall) who Dr Gaddy used to use and recommend?
Also, I'm interested to hear name/contact information of anyone who's known-good with small repairs to damascus tubes...

Tinker, Oscar once told me that Floyd Hansen, Rochford, Ill. [815-397-2837] did excellent welding. I have not had any experience with him.

OK, Tinker, will you contact Mr Hansen, or should I? Thanks to Dennis, we can all see the hole. I know I should make every effort to use my own Lang barrels if I possibly can.

You're welcome Mike.
It's nice to see such sincere enthusiasm for a project like this - not a massively significant piece, no star-struck provenance, but a sweet and interesting classy old gun with lots of character 'on it's way to the spa for a little freshen-up' - you will definitely enjoy your time in the field with the Lang when it's been swept back up to snuff.

Have a friend in IN that used to do some work with Oscar on some projects. They refered to the guy as the "micro welder" If your lead is a dead end post a note and I will give him a call. My memory says that the guy was located in IN.
