Chuck, Greg, this is the first thing I read this morning. Laughed out loud.
I am glad to be here.

1) My single trigger gun , bought used, has had no problems 2) My uncle's 28 ga. single trigger gun, bought used and with which I am very familiar, has had no problems 3) My double trigger gun, bought new, had some sort of timing issue with the safety, a fit problem that I remedied myself

I've had 4 or 5 Repro SST guns. No problems except the one I used most with several thousand shells through it, did malfunction once. I cleaned the trigger and oiled it and it worked fine. Amazing how dirt and little pieces of grass can get inside a gun.

I have a 20g single trigger that I bought used about 8 years ago. Its my main upland gun and I shoot sporting clays a few times before the season, it has had no problems.
Thx, -brian

I had a single trigger 28 ga. It started to double. Gunsmith cleaned it and I had no further problems.

Single trigger 28ga with no problems. BTW: i would trade it for a double trigger straight grip 28ga same condition(hunting)if someone wants to trade. I just like double triggers better.

I owned a 28ga repro with single trigger in the early 90s. Yes I had problems; it would double when you fired the left barrel first. Went to a gunsmith for correction; seemed to work ok after that for the short time I owned it before I sold it. Is there a trend here with 28 ga SSTs?? Maxey

Although this poll certainly is not a comprehensive survey of SST Parker Repros, however; this relatively small representation does tell us something---Not one respondant to this thread that has experienced an issue of any kind with their SST Repro has not been able to rectify the problem with just a simple cleaning. Perhaps the owner's of these guns should rejoice in fact that their gun's should enjoy the same future escalation in value commensurate with that of the double trigger Parker Repros.

Bamboozler, I don't remember what was done to rectify the problem on mine, but it was more than a simple cleaning. At least, per the bill.
