This is outside of my area of knowledge anyone have an idea? This is Danish Rolling Block in 8mm. I'll send the owner a link if there are any questions. Looks like "S&W" to me.

Do you have more pictures of this rifle?
There seems to be a slight problem. I do not believe what you have is a military Danish R-B, A Danish sporting arm perhaps, but not likely. I would need more pictures of the rifle to possibly tell what you do have.

Thanks,

Sorry, I have nothing other than what I posted, if the owner will chime in we might get more information.

I've seen a lot of Smith & Wessons and I'm pretty sure this isn't one of them. It does look like an S and a W, for sure.

Interesting rifle. I notice the block lacks a thumb tab. That suggests a side or bottom lever for the block possibly with a linked block and hammer. It doesn't appear to be the military action.

I don't think it's missing Jerry. I think its just hid by the angle of view, looking straight on to the thumb tab.

It looks very civilian to me rather than Military, too.
Not one of the later actions as it does not have the Mickey Mouse Ear thumb piece, but barreled in the same style as the 8x58 Military models.
