A question about laser welding made me realize that Run with the fox hasn't posted in a long time. Anyone know why? I hope he's OK.

If he is hanging out here, at least he is behaving himself. I don't miss his previous, irrelevant, often offensive blather, even when leavened with the occasional bit of actual relevant information. I don't visit the PGCA site as much as I used to, but he seems to be holding himself in check over there. Perhaps he has changed?

I think you're right Eis, he has another handle. His posts were definitely different.

I also am one who kind of misses RWTF. I posted the question in another thread about the Laser Welding process which prompted Ohiosam to begin this thread. I wouldn't be surprised if RWTF gave me a good answer about Laser Welding, along with obscure trivia about Betty Grable and Fred Astaire.

Often times, he made me laugh. Other times, I merely chose to not read his posts. Growing up with 7 younger sisters taught me at an early age to tune out distractions. None of us has a gun to our heads forcing us to read anything irrelevant to our personal areas of interest.

Yet I have visited a few forums where too much blather makes it tough to separate the wheat from the chaff.

A true sign of mental illness is any gun owner who would vote for an Anti-Gunner like Joe Biden.

Just speaking for me alone, I prefer answers that are pretty much on the topic, whatever it is. I can look up trivia on Wikipedia if I want to, and if I trusted that site in the first place. Run At The Mouth often was not only so far affield with his answers I simply didn't bother finishing his replies, he often was offensive, which I believe does not belong here at all. Other than that.............he might be a decent guy to sit down and drink a cool one with.

He holds himself slightly in check on the Parker forum because he was thrown off for a long time. He finally talked them into letting him back on, I can't imagine why they did. He's blocked from posting on the LC Smith forum as well. Life is too short to read all that run on crap he posts.
