tw,
The 20 gauge ASEL models are too light for me to consider as serious shooting pieces. I would love to handle one with 29" barrels and a straight grip, but, have never seen one.

Best,
Ted

Yea, but, maybe he did something and would be kind enough to post it here. Also, I love it when there is a post gushing over Fabbri, with no mention of Phoenix barrels.

The truth of the Fabbri barrel "problem" never did surface and likely never will. Like most blowups or maybe all, the gun as delivered had nothing to do with it. More likely since it was a singular occurrence. Innuendo is not data.

have a day

The years go too fast.

thank you Ted ... the day I have created something worthy I will be glad to share.

Why build an O/U ???
because it's ART.
not interested in mass production ...
can't beat a 680 series Beretta or a Perazzi
but you sure could go bankrupt trying

but a few guys working together might be able to make
a handful of best guns each year and pay the bills also
or worst cases go broke a little less spectacularly

Spent too much time trying to use Perazzi barrels.
Perazzis are shooting machines ... but kinda heavy in weight and
clunky in looks.IMO
Building an action that uses Perazzi barrels and is elegant and reasonable weight is beyond me with assistance from better brains than mine.

Dr.WTS ... the lawyers won't want to acknowledge that truth.
I'd shoot a Phoenix barrel any day of the week.

Buying a full cnc sinker because the last 6 actions got scraped by subcontractor EDMING. almost new $150k machine and they produce .030 asymmetric parts!

Talk about discouraging.
So starting over again.
Purchased Solidworks and learned enough to get by.
Now I'm buying my own (cheaper) sinker and I'll burn it myself.

never give up.
